Not to mention it's baffling that the free DLC packs in so much more content compared to this DLC… It's hard to justify the considerable price tag for what's included here, but it would have been an easy purchase if the free DLC had been part of this. There are plenty of Dragon Ball Super characters that fans are dying to get their hands on and these certainly were not at the top of anyone's wish-lists. Honestly, these character choices are a little disappointing for the first DLC. Basically, they are a reskin of Frieza, who was easy enough to make through customisation anyway, and with not enough to differentiate, along with a so-so Saiyan kid. The two new characters are the centrepiece of the DLC and frankly… they are not great. They were recently introduced in the recent Dragon Ball Super, the continuation of Akira Toriyama's legendary series, in the recent "Universe 6 Saga" where a tournament is set up between the universes. 
It's not that strange to see plenty of members of Frieza's race and Saiyans in these games thanks to the character creators, but they are a good deal rarer in the source material, considering the Saiyan race was mostly wiped out.īoth characters actually are from an alternate universe. These two characters are Frost, a member of Frieza's race with a striking resemblance to Frieza himself, and Cabba, a polite and respectable young Saiyan boy. This consists of a new master to train under - Hit, the master assassin of Universe 6, some new customisation elements - two new costumes, two new emotes, and five new attacks to equip, three new Parallel Quests, five Super Souls and, of course, two new playable characters.
What exactly do you get in this first DLC pack? Sadly, not a lot, especially compared to the big new free DLC players just received.
